Due to the COVID-19 crisis and the ground shutdown across India, there were not many announcements last month. The month of May ended with the launch of the Realme X7 Max and as things get better, we can expect more smartphone launches in June. This will include mid-range and premium range. IQOO Z3, OPPO Reno 6 series, OnePlus Nord CE 5G, and Huawei P50 phones will be launched this month. Let’s take a look at some of the smartphones expected to be launched in June 2021.

(1) OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India:





OnePlus will expand the Nord system as the company prepares to unveil the OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India on June 10. A recently leaked version of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G suggests that the phone will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display at 90Hz refresh rate, similar to the original Nord. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, available on Mi 10i and Samsung Galaxy M42 5G. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will feature a 64MP main camera, combined with two smaller cameras. It can get a 16MP snapper front. We can expect the price of OnePlus Nord CE 5G to be at the level of Rs 20,000.

(2) Realme GT 5G in India:








The Realme GT first introduced in China back in March is expected to be launched in India and European markets. While the start date is not yet clear, it could be sometime in June. Remembering the specifics of the Real GT GT 5G, it plays a 6.43-inch FHD + Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole butt, a 120Hz frequency boost, 1000nits high brightness, and Corning Gorilla 5. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC integrated Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on a custom Android 11 based version of Realme UI 2.0 out of the box and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W speed support. The Realme GT 5G has three rear cameras, a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP wide lens, and a large 2MP lens. There is a 16MP snapper front for selfies and video chat and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

(3) QOO Z3 5G in India:









The launch of the IQOO Z3 5G India is expected to take place sometime in the first half of June. The phone is already available in China and will soon find its way to the Indian market. It is already listed on Amazon and is guaranteed to ship with Snapdragon 768G SoC and 8GB RAM. It plays a 6.58-inch FHD + LCD display with refresh rate of 120Hz, 2408 × 1080 pixel resolution, 20: 9 aspect ratio, waterdrop notch for selfie snapper, HDR10 + and 96 percent of the NTSC Color Gamut. The phone runs on a custom iQOO UI 1.0 based on Android 11 above and packs a 4,400mAh battery with 55W rear support. The QOO Z3 5G has a quad rear camera set with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. There is a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats as well as a fingerprint sensor mounted on the safety side.

(4) OPPO Reno 6 series in India:













The OPPO Reno 6 series is expected to be launched in India later this month. The original layout includes the standard Reno 6, the Reno 6 Pro, and the Reno 6 Pro + and was first launched in China earlier last week. While the exact timeline is not clear, we would expect the company to introduce a high or medium model as its predecessors. The OPPO Reno 6 series comes with FHD + AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate, fist cut, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Reno 6 Pro + is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, the Reno 6 Pro comes with MediaTek Dimension 1200 , while the standard Reno 6 has a Dimension 900 SoC. The phones have a 64MP main camera and 65W speed camera support.

(5) Global launch of the Huawei P50:


The Huawei P50 series is expected to be launched worldwide in June and the system could be very versatile. The entry level model is expected to come with a Kirin 9000E chipset, while the P50 Pro and P50 Pro + can get the Kirin 9000, which is the same chipset that powers the Huawei Mate 40 system. While very little is known about the Huawei P50 series in the meantime, it should bring about greater improvements beyond the Mate 40 line.
